Michael and Anna are buried on he new graveyard at Heidelberg where no less than six generations of the family have been buried. Michael Wehr lived upon the homestead situated in Washington Twp. and later owned by Benjamin D. Wehr, a grandson. Rev. Osville Wehr lived there also. The 1850 Census shows a Sally, born 1819 living with Michael, a granddaughter and an invalid. In 1813 he had 160 acres of land and also operated a still.

Michael Wehr, one of the old-time residents of Washington, lived about three miles from Slatington, on the Saegersville road, and died there about 1855, aged nearly eighty years. He was a descendant of Simon Wehr, who took out a warrant for land as early as 1753; Michael has sons, Michael, Daniel, William, Solomon and Eli, and a daughter, who married Jonas Kern. Daniel retained his father?s farm. Solomon is in Iowa, and Eli in Schuylkill County.

Michael married Anna Maria Bloss, daughter of John George Bloss and Ann Barbara Schneider, on 10 Sep 1796 in Heidelberg Pennsylvania Rev Johannes Heinrich Helffrich.^{1 2} (Anna Maria Bloss was born on 17 Apr 1779 in Washington Twp, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania ⁵ and died on 3 Jan 1836 in Heidelberg Twp, Northampton Co., Pennsylvania ^{4 6}.)
