George Rex commissioned one of HIs Majesty's Justices of the Peace on Nov 12, 1757, for Northampton County.

On the FHL website, a linked family tree listed Georg Rex's death date of 18 Oct 1772, this is the date of death of his father I find this unlikely.

Georg married Anna Margaretha Knauss on 24 Aug 1742 in Jordan Lutheran Church, Northampton Co., Pennsylvania.¹ (Anna Margaretha Knauss was born on 26 Nov 1723,⁴ died on 24 Aug 1794 in Heidelberg Twp. Lehigh Co., Pennsylvania ⁴ and was buried in Heidelberg Cemetery.)
