The family in Lynn township has as its ancestor Christian Heinrich, who, on June 22, 1769, took out a warrant for 78 acres of land situated in the township; and in the year 1790 the first Federal census reports him as the head of a family which consisted of himself, wife, son over sixteen years of age and two sons under sixteen.

Christian married Magdalen Beverts, daughter of Johannes Bevertz and Mary Ottilia, on 20 Sep 1767 in Macungie, Northampton, Pennsylvania.¹ (Magdalen Beverts was born in Mar 1743 in Berks County, Pennsylvania ⁴ and died on 14 May 1795 ⁴.)
