Paulus arrived in Philadelphia on 29 Sept 1753 on the ship Rowand. His son Johannes Crum is also on the Rowand list. It is believed he became ill on the voyage and died soon after arriving.
"Paulus Krum of Phuhl & family of 5 were emigrants" (Nassau-Dillenberg Lists) Note Phuhl is 1.5 mi and Hoff is 3 mi NE of Bad Marienberg.
Paulus was living in Marienberg in 1711 and in Hoff in 1724

Paulus married Anna Maria Lupp, daughter of Baest Lupp and Anna Catherina Schell, on 8 Apr 1725 in Bad Marienberg Germany.¹ (Anna Maria Lupp was born in 1702 in Pfuhl, Hessenassau, Germany and died on an unknown date.)
