"He is mentioned several times in the history of Marienberg Church. On page 26 the listing is Johann Hakob Krumm in Marienberg, 1674-1682. On page 52 he is described as being quarrelsome and arguementative regarding a dispute over his use of
church land for the grazing of his cattle. On page 281, he is described as the carpenter who built a two story barn and stable in the courtyard of the church parsonage and received 30 guilden for his effort. His brothers Johannes and Peter
are also mentioned in the book." James Norman Crum, Crum Genealogy, 1997.
